PRE-TREATMENT
Laser Hair Removal
To ensure the best results and your safety, please review our preparation guidelines before your treatment. Following these instructions will help maximize effectiveness and minimize risks.
Your comfort and care are our top priorities. Please take a few moments to read through these important pre-treatment requirements so you arrive fully prepared for your appointment.

Prepare the Treatment Area:

No Sun Exposure:
Avoid sun exposure for 2-4 weeks before and after your treatment. This includes tanning lotions, beds, sprays, and any tanning solutions. Cover treated areas when exposed to the sun. Always apply a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

Medications:
Stop antibiotics/blood thinners 14 days prior.
No iron (65mg+) 3 days before/after.
Avoid Accutane 6 months prior. -
Skincare Products:
Do not use products containing retinol, benzoyl peroxide, AHAs, BHAs, or other acids for at least 7 days before treatment. Retin-A/Tretinoin products should not be used for 14 days prior.

Other Treatments:
Avoid facial treatments, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, micro-needling, injectables, or laser treatments for at least 14 days before your appointment.

Pregnancy/Nursing:
If you are pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant, laser treatments are not recommended.

Medical Conditions:
Disclose any medical conditions or history, such as heart disease, thyroid issues, diabetes, cancer, skin conditions, or immunosuppressive disorders. This information is confidential and solely for your safety.
POST-TREATMENT

Proper aftercare is just as important as preparation. Following these guidelines will help your skin heal comfortably, reduce side effects, and ensure the best results from your treatment.
Your journey doesn’t end after the session—how you care for your skin makes all the difference. Please review these aftercare instructions to protect your skin and maximize long-lasting results.

Immediate Aftercare:
Redness and bumps are normal and can last up to 72 hours. The treated area may feel like a mild sunburn. Swelling, itching, or hives may occur. Use oral or topical antihistamines like hydrocortisone or Benadryl as needed.

Sun Protection:
Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher several times daily, especially when outdoors. Proper sun protection is essential to prevent hyperpigmentation, which can last for months.

Skin Care:
For the first 24 hours, use only aloe, sunscreen, or hydrocortisone cream on the treated areas. Avoid shaving or exfoliating for 7-10 days.

Other Treatments:
Do not receive facial treatments, microdermabrasion, injectables, chemical peels, micro-needling, or other laser treatments for at least 14 days post-treatment.

Heat and Activity:
Avoid exercise, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for 24-72 hours post-treatment.

Other Treatments:
Do not receive facial treatments, microdermabrasion, injectables, chemical peels, micro-needling, or other laser treatments for at least 14 days post-treatment.

Shedding and Hair Growth:
Shedding may occur 5-30 days post-treatment, appearing like new hair growth. This is normal and part of the process.

No Hair Removal:
Avoid any hair removal methods (other than shaving) on the treated area between sessions.

Makeup:
Makeup can be used 24 hours post-treatment unless blistering occurs. Use new makeup products to minimize infection risk.

Follow-up:
The recommended time between treatments is 4-8 weeks, depending on the area and your progress.
